Isolated farms, property and roads in the lower Towy valley
River levels are steady. Flooding to property is expected. Flooding of low-lying land and roads is ongoing. Impacts are expected to occur over the weekend. Impacts are ongoing. The River Towy at Ty Castell gauge is expected to continue to rise until approximately 5:45pm, late Sunday afternoon the 24th November . The rainfall is forecast to ease by approximately 10:00am Sunday 24th November. The weather conditions are set to deteriorate overnight. River level is expected to return to Flood Warning Level after a brief drop. We will continue to monitor the situation. This message will be updated as the situation changes.
